Smashy Town follows the story of demolition man Mr. Gilly as he smashes through brick and wood with his wrecking ball. Smashy Town is the sequel to Trashy Town, a picture book written by Andrea Zimmerman and David Clemesha published in 1999. My goals for this project were to make the design cohesive with the first book and draw attention to the wrecking ball sounds to create a fun experience when reading the book aloud.
